The Break Free Charitable Trust is a NZ registered charity and was set up in 2017. The
purpose of the Trust is the relief of poverty, hunger, and sickness including the provision of food,
clothing and shelter to the poor, and to educate and provide training and leadership for students and the
public about issues of world poverty and the steps that can be taken to alleviate those
issues.
Since its establishment, Break Free Charitable Trust has supplied financial assistance to
those in need in New Zealand including funding the provision of food and clothing to the needy, and
helping those affected by natural disasters including Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle in 2023.
The Trust
has also undertaken education and leadership training for many New Zealand students and the public around
the issues of world poverty including providing hands-on experiences through Volunteer Build where they
can put their learnings into action.
The Trust relies on donations from the public to help achieve
its charitable purposes. Donations are welcomed and can be made to the Break Free Charitable Trust ANZ
account: 01-0815-0116178-00. Please email admin@breakfreetrust.org.nz with details of your donation for
tax receipting purposes. You can also Donate via our Givealittle page (include a Donate Here button)
